New Pastor Appointed to Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Centerport Print E-mail

Rev. Msgr Richard BauhoffROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – May 26, 2010 – The Most Reverend William Murphy, Bishop, Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre, appointed Reverend Monsignor Richard Bauhoff, pastor of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs parish, Centerport.

Beginning in 1995, Msgr. Bauhoff was pastor of our Lady of Hope parish, Carle Place.  He was named an honorary prelate with the title of monsignor in 1996.  He had previously been associate pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish, Lindenhurst, St. Martin of Tours parish, Bethpage; and Our Lady of Hope parish.  Msgr. Bauhoff worked as an administrator at of Our Lady of the Magnificat parish in Ocean Beach and temporary administrator of Holy Name of Mary parish, Valley Stream.  He served on the diocesan Tribunal as Vice Officialis and judicial vicar.
