WHAT: The 17th Annual Msgr. George Denzer Lecture
The Seminary of the Immaculate Conception will be hosting the 17th annual Msgr. George Denzer Lecture on March 7, 2010 at 3pm. The guest speaker will be Rev. John Paul Heil, Professor of New Testament, Catholic University of America. The topic is “Worship in Paul’s Letter to the Romans.”
The program is free and all are welcome. Pre-registration is encouraged.

WHEN: Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 3 p.m.
WHO: The guest speaker is Rev. John Paul Heil, priest of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Father Heil studied at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, where he received his Doctorate in Sacred Scripture. After teaching at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis for 26 years, he became the Professor of New Testament at Catholic University of America in 2006. His past research has focused primarily on the Gospels, resulting in the publication of several articles and books. More recently his focus has been on Pauline Studies, resulting in the publication of books and articles.
