Smithtown, NY 11787 – Brendan Sweeney, a senior at St. Anthony’s High School, Huntington and a member of Boy Scout Troop 111 in Smithtown completed his Eagle Project at St. Catherine of Siena Nursing & Rehabilitation Care Center. As part of Brendan’s project he constructed a waterfall and memorial garden to honor the lives of all the residents who have lived at St. Catherine’s. Brendan commented, “It was a tremendous honor for me to be able to do this project for St. Catherine’s because I wanted to give back to Catholic Health Services who had done so much for my family after the loss of my father.” The residents and staff are very thankful and appreciative of Brendan’s generosity and are enjoying this beautiful waterfall project.
