West Islip, NY 11795 – On Saturday, June 4, 2011, (rain date Sunday, June 5, 2011) Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center, will be sponsoring their 4th  Annual Strawberry Festival between the hours of 1:00 p.m. & 5:00 p.m. Our Lady of Consolation is located at 111 Beach Drive in West Islip.  Admission will be $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children between the ages of 12 – 5 and children under 5 and are free of charge. Admission includes lunch, beverage and dessert. Additional strawberry desserts, prepared by Executive Chef Anthony Rezza, will be available for purchase. There will also be a variety of craft vendors, a D.J. and children’s activities, such as face painting, and a petting zoo.

Our Lady of Consolation is a 450-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Dominic since 1894 and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). As a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, Our Lady of Consolation plays an integral role in the health care delivery system of the Diocese of Rockville Centre and offers expertise in the field of long-term care and sub-acute care.
