ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – January 14, 2013 --Telecare, the television station of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, will conduct its annual fundraising telethon the weekend of January 19-20, 2013.
The telethon will air from 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and Noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday, with both day-long broadcasts being re-aired overnight on Saturday and Sunday. Phone lines will be open throughout the live broadcasts and the overnight re-broadcasts. The telethon will air on Cablevision channel 29 or on Verizon FiOS channel 296. Viewers can also catch the telethon online at www.telecaretv.org.

Special guests scheduled to appear include: Bishop Murphy and many priests of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Cardinal Archbishop of the Archdiocese of New York, Regis Philbin, Lidia Bastianich, Rosanna Scotto, Bud Harrelson, Joe Franklin, Dominic Chianese, Maryann Esposito, nine choirs from Catholic elementary and high schools in the Diocese of Rockville Centre, the New York Islanders, the New York Jets and much more.
All funds raised from the telethon are used in the television ministry.
