Experience the Magic of Christmas

At a Media-Only Preview of St. Joseph Hospital’s
Christmas Celebration & Stuff a Bus With Toys

WHAT: St. Joseph Hospital offers the media an exclusive preview of its Christmas celebration. Each year, St. Joseph’s staff creates a free, magical wonderland in front of the hospital where the public are eager spectators. Mr. and Mrs. Claus appear on the rooftop, along with their team of elves, to the delight of young children. But that’s not all, there’s a Snow Queen, a Christmas bear and the Grinch! The story begins on the rooftop and Mr. and Mrs. Claus seem to “fly” down in their sleigh. Children are then invited inside to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and Mrs. Claus has a special Christmas book in which she records the gifts. Amazement ensues when it seems that Santa knows if they’ve been bad or good and gifts are distributed. Reindeer girls deliver hot chocolate and candy canes to all.

This year, a special addition includes stuffing a Hunter ambulance with toys for needy children.
