TheCatholicMinistriesAppealis a wonderful story. It is the story about the Church here on Long Island, a story in which each and every one of us has a part to play. It is the time, talent and treasure of the people of God who have built this Church up to where it is now.
Every year, through the support and commitment of individuals and organizations, we are able to serve more than 500,000 people in our Long Island community. This support enables our children to continue to receive the gift of spiritual formation, sacramental preparation and quality education; seminarians, deacons and lay leaders can fulfill their calling and serve their community; Catholic Charities can maintain its services for the poor and disadvantaged, and we can continue to reach out to our young people and others, to find the best ways to guide and pass on our faith from generation to generation.
The CMA appeal is conducted on a calendar year basis. Amounts received under the appeal are time restricted for the next fiscal year.
