First Place PoetryLife is God's precious gift to us
Only he can give it and take it away
Value each life as a sign of God's greatness
Every minute of every day

We should respect life in every form
Infants, children, adults
The elderly, sick and unborn
Help all those that are in pain
Offer to lend a helping hand or hold them near
Until God calls them home again
Treat each life with special care, year after year

Measure of love is to love without measure
Each and every human life
All God's children we accept with pleasure
Sent to this world for a husband and wife
Understanding with God's grace
Respecting others brings us joy and
Every life has its place

Poetry Winner Level I

The measure of love,
Is love without measure.
All stages of life,
Need love's silent treasure.
When we live life self?centered,
love's measure will fall,
When we reach out in love,
The measure grows tall.
Love’s best to give, good to receive,
look around when love's missing, so you can perceive:
The unborn, the children, the elderly too,
"Love one another, as I have loved you".
The disabled, the struggling, the sick and the blind:
All "love is patient"; all "love is kind".
If all love is patient, then have patience with others,
If all love is kind, then be kind to your brothers.
Love's always tested ?hard to get and to give,
So the measure of love reflects how we live.
If you've been touched with love, you have obligations,
To love without measure ... without hesitations.
