Yes, housing will be provided for the duration of the pilgrimage.
Yes, all meals will be included for perpetual pilgrims.
No, however there are several parts of the pilgrimage open to the general public and we will need volunteers for events, see the our website for more information.
While the route for each day will vary, pilgrims should be able to walk 5 miles in a day.
There are no costs associated.
To help support the Eucharistic Pilgrimage and defer the costs, perpetual pilgrims will be asked to work with their local parish to fundraise at least $1,000. If you are selected to be a pilgrim our team will speak with you and your pastor to support your fundraising efforts.
Perpetual pilgrims are here to represent the people of God on Long Island. They will first and most importantly accompany the Blessed Sacrament across our Diocese. They will may be asked to contribute according to their talents by leading music, speaking to parishioners, promoting and advertising the pilgrimage events and Eucharistic Congress.
