CYO of Long Island is a public benefit community organization that enhances the lives of Long Island youth and their families, by providing affordable, quality, educational and recreational services. Rooted in the Catholic tradition, CYO provides these services in an inclusive and non-discriminatory manner respecting the culture and faith of all. CYO of Long Island was established in 1958 to provide athletic opportunities to children of the Diocese of Rockville Centre. Since then we have grown to serve over 25,000 children a year across Long Island. Our programs include: basketball, cheer, chess, soccer, swimming, track and volleyball. Our new initiative, CYO Steadfast, is design to bring athletics to the neediest in our communities while also providing educational and nutritional support.
