Employee Assistance Program
The Diocese of Rockville Centre Employee Assistant Program (EAP) is here for you and your family to use. You do not have to be in crisis to utilize these services, although they are available for crisis appointments. The EAP has a staff of highly experienced counselors who are available to you.
Some key features of the program:
- It is a free benefit for you, paid for by the Diocese.
- It is confidential.
- Available to see you and your family for a variety of issues including but not limited to personal and work related stress, substance abuse, relationship issues, domestic violence, parenting, preparing for retirement, caring for an ill family member, grief or thoughts about hurting yourself or someone else.
- You and your eligible family members each have 7 sessions of counseling available per problem episode. This allows you to utilize your EAP benefit when new issues and problems arise. Eligible family member is defined as spouse, fiancé, children, step-children and foster children up to age 26.
