Little Sisters of the Poor Evening of Rock and Roll Nostalgia
Join the friends and benefactors of the Little Sisters of the Poor for an evening of rock n’ roll nostalgia at the catering and events venue “Antun’s of Queens Village”. The evening will include live music, dancing, cash bar, dinner, and raffle prizes. Guests are asked to “dress to impress” in their best retro/vintage ensembles!
Queen of Peace Residence, owned and operated by the Little Sisters, is a family-style home where the needy elderly of NYC are welcomed as Jesus Christ himself, and served with dignity and love until God call them home. 100% of the evening’s proceeds will contribute to the needs of the Queen of Peace Residence.
The Little Sisters of the Poor are dependent upon the generosity of their donors in order to keep the home alive and well. Currently, Queen of Peace continues to endure residual financial strain from the COVID-19 pandemic. Increased funds will ensure adequate staffing, so that more needy elderly can be welcomed into the home, and that the home’s facilities be kept up to date.
You are invited to visit www.littlesistersofthepoorqueens.org to learn more about the Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Poor and Queen of Peace Residence. This event will be an opportunity for the Little Sisters to become better acquainted with the many good people of NYC whose generosity has made their mission possible, and to make new friends as well! Hope to see you there!

Retrouvaille is a practical program for married couples facing difficult challenges.
It is not counseling, and you will not be asked to share the personal details of your story.
Retrouvaille is different; it’s a way to improve your communication, help you reconnect, and build a healthy, happier, stronger marriage.
Catholic in origin, couples of all faiths, or no faith background, are welcome to attend. We are a Christian Peer Ministry offering tens of thousands of marriages hope in over 160 communities world-wide.
Cabrini Movie Debuts March 8
From Alejandro Monteverde, award-winning director of 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘰𝘮, comes the powerful epic of Francesca Cabrini, an Italian immigrant who arrives in New York City in 1889 and is greeted by disease, crime, and impoverished children. Cabrini sets off on a daring mission to convince the hostile mayor to secure housing and healthcare for society’s most vulnerable. With broken English and poor health, Cabrini uses her entrepreneurial mind to build an empire of hope, unlike anything the world had ever seen.
